The City of Buffalo has garden plots available at Gary Mattson Park for a minimal fee for those with a green thumb, water is available too.
Reservations for the community garden plots located at Gary Mattson Park off CSAH 35 on the NW corner of Buffalo Lake will begin March 1. Individual garden plots are approximately 10’ x 20’. Each garden area is measured with string marking the perimeter of each plot. There is a 5-foot walkway down the center of the garden site. Water is available by hose at one end of the community garden.

(You may reserve no more than 2 plots per household. In the event of a large number of requests, gardeners may be limited to one spot each.) Plots will be assigned in late April, with gardeners contacted via email with plot maps and information.
