Civic Center

Welcome to the Buffalo Civic Center. The Civic Center is a year-round recreational and meeting facility and is managed by the City of Buffalo's Parks and Recreation Department.

During the winter the Civic Center features two indoor, regulation-size ice sheets, an outdoor pleasure rink and outdoor hockey rink located behind the building.

The Civic Center is available for Open Skating, Youth and Adult Hockey, Figure Skating, Group Rentals, Birthday Parties and Meeting Space.

Hockey & Skating

The Civic Center is home to the Buffalo Bison High School boys and girls hockey teams, Buffalo Youth Hockey Association and the Buffalo Figure Skating Club.

2nd Annual Rinkside Concert

The Rinkside Concert was held on Saturday, September 13th and featured the Gear Daddies with specials Johnny Holm Band and The Mitch Gordon Band. Event Space

The Civic Center, March through September; is used as a multi-purpose event center that is available to rent out for meetings or special events. The Civic Center is a great facility for Trade Shows, Banquets, Fund-Raisers, Grad Parties, Weddings, Quinceanera's or any other event looking for an affordable location. The Civic Center has a seating capacity of 500 plus, so we can accommodate most large events.
