The Toy shop was founded in 2006 in a small room at the Community Center. Since then, we have expanded to a larger building with more volunteers. We have donated and given out thousands of toys and kits to children locally, nationally and worldwide.
Distributing toy kits to day cares, schools, Salvation Army and churches provides an enjoyable activity for children and aids in developing dexterity and fine motor skills. These toy kits are made possible by vary special volunteers who contribute their time and woodworking skills.
Your generous donations of lumber, tools, equipment and monetary support, enable us to continue with our projects. If you can help in any way, your donation would be very much appreciated! Donations accepted online via our Parks and Recreation online catalog.
They meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the building by the Skate Park at Sturges Park.
