This year's Arbor Day Tree Planting will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 9:00 am at Sundance Ridge Park located at the intersection of Bluffs Pkwy and Landsdown Rd.
The Parks & Recreation Department is improving our neighborhood parks, choosing a different park every year, by planting trees and inviting the community to participate. Trees are an important part of every community and contribute to our environment by cleaning the air we breathe, filtering the water we drink, and providing wildlife habitats.
The Parks & Recreation Department is asking city residents to stop by and help them complete the project and get to know some of the staff and Parks Advisory Board members. Shovels will be provided.
