Spotlight - South Shores

Overview

The 219.3-acre property is comprised of a mixture of agricultural land, wetland areas, and woodland areas. The proposed development will consist of 64 villa lots, 236 single family lots, 160 back-to-back town homes and 26 row-town homes for a total of 564 residential homes with the associated streets and utility infrastructure. 

Expected to be built in phases over several years, this development will include the construction of a roundabout at 8 th  Street NE and County Road 35 / Willems Way as well as the connection of Griffing Park Road to Calder Avenue NE. 

A 2-acre park is also anticipated for the middle of the development, along with off-street trails that will connect new neighborhoods with the City’s existing trail network. 

An Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) has been completed for this development, with public comments received and incorporated into the findings of the report, see EAW and Findings of Fact on the South Shores on Lake Pulaski projects page.
