What to Expect
A progress map will be published on a daily basis once flushing begins until the fall flushing is complete. Hydrant flushing (PDF) is done in the spring and fall to ensure that hydrants are in working order for fire protection and to remove mineral deposits that may accumulate in the water distribution system.
