Project Update
The City has received construction bids for the TH 25 Reconstruction project. The low bidder is R&R Construction from Hutchinson. The bid was below the Engineer’s Estimate. MnDOT is currently reviewing the bids for concurrence with meeting good faith efforts for the DBE goals for the project. Upon MnDOT’s review and concurrence, the Contracts will be executed and construction will begin shortly thereafter.
Since we don’t have a definitive timeline for MnDOT’s review and due to material lead times, we don’t have an exact start date yet from the Contractor. However, we are anticipating a start date of sometime between June 26th and July 10th. As soon as a schedule is more defined, we will provide additional information regarding the schedule and detailed detour information and dates.
