Clear 3 ft Radius Around Fire Hydrants
Winter weather can create fire safety hazards. Please help the City of Buffalo’s Fire Department, by clearing snow and ice from around the hydrants that are near your home or business. Clearing an area approximately 3 feet on each side of the hydrant will allow easier access and quicker response at a time when every second counts!
If you are elderly or physically unable to remove the snow from around the hydrant on your property, please call the City of Buffalo Water Department and we will clear the snow from around your hydrant. 763.684.5432
