My name is Linda M. Kittock. I have lived in Buffalo for 20 years. I’m not married and have no children. I have been living with my younger sister taking care of both of her sons. One of her sons has special needs.
I have worked for some of our local businesses in my early days of living in Buffalo. I have done a lot of volunteer work for about 10 years. I had joined two citizen band clubs in the early 1980’s. Westside C.B. Club from Delano raised money for H.H. Humphrey Cancer Research and Federation of Forty C.B. Club from St. Cloud raised money for Camp Courage. We had several C.B. Clubs all around Minnesota that worked hard to raise money for their favorite charity. It was the people that came to the benefits that made it fun. Through the years a lot of us became good friends. Some of my C.B. friends have passed on now. I miss them a lot.
Westside C.B. Club from Delano would also run a dunk tank at the 4th of July celebration in Delano to raise money for our benefit for cancer. We also helped Wright County Sheriff’s Department with the security during the 4th of July celebration. Whenever we were asked to help the Sheriff’s Department, we were always willing to help.
Now I work for the Buffalo Hanover Montrose School District as a Transportation Paraprofessional. I ride in a mini van and mini bus with special needs students. I completed and received a diploma in Bookkeeping and Accounting at Ashworth University in Atlanta, GA.
I was elected to City Council in November 2016. I chose to run for office so I can make a difference in our community.
