City Seeking Funding to Help with Building Rehabilitation Project – SCDP Application

The City of Buffalo and Housing & Redevelopment Authority are in the process of applying for grant funds to help homeowners and downtown commercial property owners to make repairs to their buildings.  The program’s criteria requires specific neighborhoods be designated in applications in order to have the most impact in a concentrated area under the grant criteria.  If you or someone you know live in one of the residential areas in the maps below, or own commercial property in the downtown area shown below, we encourage you to contact Messina at Central Minnesota Housing Partnership.  She will help you learn more and record your interest in reinvesting in your property if you qualify for these forgivable loan funds.  Below is a news release with Messina’s information and links to two information sessions being hosted via Zoom and in-person at City Hall on February 23rd.  Maps showing neighborhoods included in the application are also available below:
