The City of Buffalo and broader community continue to recover in the aftermath of the gun violence on February 9th, 2021 when Gregory Ulrich, who is now in custody, shot five individuals, killing one, and set off improvised explosive devices at the Buffalo Allina Clinic at Crossroads Campus Drive.

At 9:16 a.m. this morning (Feb. 11), Wright County Attorney Brian Lutes filed the criminal complaint documents with the 10th Judicial District Court in the case of the State of Minnesota vs. Gregory Paul Ulrich. Refer to Wright County’s recent news releases for the full text of the filing and video of today’s and Tuesday’s press conferences here:  The investigation is ongoing thanks to the swift, heroic and dedicated efforts from the February 9th first responders and ongoing law enforcement supporters including the Buffalo Police and Fire Departments, Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Minnesota Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearm Task Force, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Maple Lake Fire Department, Howard Lake and Cokato Ambulance Services.  If you have any information, no matter how small, about the events of February 9th, please contact the 24-hour Wright County Tip Line at 763.682.7733.  Additional information on the investigation and criminal complaint will be provided by Wright County as it becomes available.
