Biography

Hello, my name is Jameson Wakefield. My wife Stacia and I married in 1998 and have been residents of Buffalo for 17 years. Stacia and I came to make Buffalo our home because it offers a small-town atmosphere like the town, we grew up in but with amenities and services that many other small towns do not have. We have three boys, one currently in Buffalo High School and our oldest two are at Iowa State University for engineering. I am a Marketing Director for a large financial services company in Minneapolis where I’ve built a successful career over the past 25 years. Stacia is a mental health counselor here in Buffalo.

I'm currently serving on the Zion Lutheran Church Council and have held a seat on the Buffalo City Planning Commission since 2015. Over the years I've coached youth sports, served as Den Leader and Committee Chair for the local Cub Scout Pack and volunteered at local events. I will work hard to balance that small town feel, retain businesses and services in Buffalo, and revitalize the downtown district to keep it a focal point of Buffalo.
