The City contracts with Waste Management to provide residential garbage collection and disposal, and residential curbside recycling. Garbage containers are provided to residents to store garbage. Residents are billed according to the size trash can they choose for the residence (fees are volume-based). A truck that uses an automated arm is used to dump contents of garbage container. Recycling containers are available for residents to purchase to participate in the curbside recycling program. A compost facility is available for City residents to drop off grass clippings, brush, and yard waste.  |
