The Buffalo Police Department has been working on a series of project aimed at reducing crime.  Read the information below to learn more about these efforts.

 In December of 2007, the Buffalo Police Department established a link from our crime database to a web-based mapping product, which allows residents to see a mapped depiction of crimes occurring within the City.  If you click HERE, you will be directed to the map of the City of Buffalo.  By setting up an account, you can be notified by email of any new crimes within your neighborhood - or anywhere in the City.

You can also view other crime maps from other areas of the Country, by going to www.crimereports.com

It is our hope that by making the public more aware of the crimes occurring within the City or within their neighborhood, they will be more likely to report unusual or suspicious activity.  You can all help us make our community a better place to live by helping us catch those responsible for criminal activity.
